Directions

The Southern Winds Hunting Club is located 70 miles south of Des Moines, Iowa off Interstate 35 and about 10 miles north of the Iowa & Missouri border.

Take Exit 12 East to Leon, Iowa (5 miles).
Turn right at the first stop (by NAPA Auto Parts).
Go 7.2 miles on the blacktop
(there will be a windmill on the right and a sign for Southern Winds on the left)
Turn left and travel 1.9 miles on the gravel road.
Southern Winds Hunting Club is on the south side of the road.

If you need a ride from the Amtrak station in Leon or the airport from Kansas City, MO or Des Moines, IA...be sure to let us know so that we can get transportation arrangements made.
